Terms and Conditions

All Parts sent in the UK will be by 1st Class Royal Mail : Tracked and Insured. 

Any Postage to EU will be 1st Class Royal Mail : Tracked and Insured. Any import duties must be paid by the buyer in their own country.

Any returns from any country must be have Export duty, VAT and Postage paid for by the sender.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER for Orders shipping OUTSIDE of the United Kingdom

Duties and Taxes:

Import duties, taxes, are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost.  These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.  You may check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs.

Regulations and Restrictions

The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products.  By placing an international order (shipping outside of the United Kingdom) the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions. If product is seized and destroyed by customs, we will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.

LucyNation Lighting Trades under the name of Somadata Consultancy Ltd. We operate via the Telephone or Email orders only. We don't offer a retail outlet or trade counter.

We do not accept visitors without prior arrangement, do not currently conduct day to day operations from this office and do not hold stock on site. This website serves as an online shop for our product sales. Somadata Consultancy Ltd, its directors and staff will not be held liable for loss or damages incurred as a result of direct or indirect use of this website. We reserve the right to refuse any sale if we believe the transaction to be fraudulent or for any other reason.

Pricing

Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are NOT subject to VAT. Prices are subject to change and errors and omissions are excepted. We reserve the right to refund any order if we determine that a pricing error has occurred, or we are unable to supply any item(s).

Payment

Payment is accepted in Pounds Sterling only. We accept cash,  or direct bank transfers.  Title in all goods remains the property of Somadata Consultancy Ltd until payment is received in full.

Delivery

We ship most items to most countries, providing there are no embargoes or other restrictions on trade with the destination, and that insured 'signed-for' delivery is available from the UK. Certain lines will not be shipped to customers outside of the UK for complications due to shipping, regulation or compatibility. We will advise on availability and delivery costs before formally accepting an international order. Delivery to UK destinations typically takes 1-3 working days from dispatch. Typically orders for in-stock items will be dispatched within 1 working day of when we receive cleared payment.

Warranty

All new items have a full manufacturer’s warranty. Any used items we sell will not normally have a warranty.

Items from the 'Refurbished' section comprise both new and used clearance items, often sold at very considerable discounts. The condition of these items is as described on the product detail page. We assure these items to arrive in the condition described and unless described otherwise on the product detail page, they come without warranty. These items are typically limited to small quantities.

Returns

Items covered by manufacturer’s warranty failing within the terms of the warranty should be returned to the manufacturer or us. The manufacturer will repair or replace at their discretion. Firstly, return authorisation should be obtained by contacting us, giving full details of the product fault, invoice numbers and serial numbers. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of returned items caused in transit to us, so please arrange for proper insured carriage. Items must be returned at the buyer’s expense if the buyer cancels. Cancellations should be advised immediately and must be within 14 days of receipt. Items which have been used cannot be returned unless faulty. Please note that custom made items cannot be returned.
